The Puzzle Pretzel debuted in March, 2008, to coincide with Autism Awareness Month in April and World Autism Awareness Day on April 2, 2008. The new pretzel is in the shape of the Autism Speaks puzzle piece logo, and five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the Puzzle Pretzel will be donated to Autism Speaks.
